India Cruse Griffin ( American Painter)

Professional Mixed Media Collage artist Earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education, from Ball State University Muncie,Indiana.

India’s art is based on her family, community, and the spirit of humanity. Her art is created with a combined collection of Magazines, Fabric, Glue, and acrylic paint. Her Collage style is unmistakably hers. It is spirited, expressive, multi-layered, multitextural and full of color.

India was chosen to create the 2009 Indiana Governor’s Art Award and is a part of the permanent art collection at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. She has recently received an award at the prestigious Indiana Hoosier Art Salon 101 year exhibition and was selected the Indiana Arts Council’s Dehaan Artist of Distinction. India is a former Art Educator of 40 years. has served as an Indiana Arts Commissioner and Civic related committees throughout the state. Today you can find India’s art in the permanent and private collections of Museums, Universities ,Libraries and Hospitals across the country. She has also had her art showcased on HGTV’s Good Bones. India Cruse Griffin is currently a Studio Artist at the Harrison Center for the Arts in Indianapolis, Indiana
